It was another busy night on the sidelines for high school football. Shooting high school football is very challenging. It can be tough getting a sharp shot with low lighting and fast action. I must admit, I LOVE being on the sidelines. I know, I'm weird. But it is a fun atmosphere!

Fall Festival @ Faith Community Church
Faith Community Church on C.R. 210 had a fall festival this weekend and I took family photos. I prayed for good weather and that God be glorified through this event. It was a beautiful day and I think everyone had a great time. Faith Community Church did a great job reaching out to the community. It was fun meeting new families and seeing friends from the area.

Fall Fun in 2nd grade
Sarah Mae's class learned about pumpkins. I did not know that... pumpkins have soooo many seeds and because they have seeds they are also considered a berry! Who knew? The kids did a great job getting all the slimy stuff out of the pumpkin and then counting the seeds. It was fun to capture their excitement.

Mollie the Greyhound
In sports photography you are suppose to be able to freeze dirt. In other words, get a sharp clear shot of the athlete in action. Well, I think if you can freeze a greyhound, you have done something.
My sister just rescued a retired racing greyhound. We went to the park this past Saturday to watch her in action. WOW!!! She is FAST!!

NHS
The last two Friday nights I shot at the Nease High School Football Game. Being on the sideslines was soooo fun! I loved it. High School football is not the easiest thing to shoot but I like a challenge. I was fortunate to use my boss's 70-200mm 2.8 and monopod. Now thats the way to shoot and spend a friday night!!

Birthday Present
We celebrated my husband's birthday with the family, some great Italian food, a fabulous cake (from Shelias!!!) and a fun birthday present. I was so excited about this gift. Paul's good friend makes skateboards. And he does an excellent job. They are beautiful. It was nice to get something I knew he would love and was just for him. He felt like a kid! Perfect!
